How to play Eraly, the eraly.io daily history game

Updated 2026-10-27. Checked against eraly.io where the note says so.

This unofficial walkthrough follows the repository’s recorded 2026-10-27 manual journey and the official About page, directly rechecked on that date. It explains the eraly.io daily history game, not an early-access store programme. No new gameplay session or Infinite purchase was performed in this audit.

  1. Open eraly.io and press “Start the journey”.
  2. Read the moment. The year field accepts a number from 1 AD through the current year.
  3. You have 25 seconds. Press GO or Enter. One guess only.
  4. If the clock runs out, that moment scores 0. The about page calls this “Lost in time”.
  5. The game then shows the real year and a short fact. Press Next.
  6. After moment 7 you get a result: a score out of 700, a time log, coloured squares, and Copy / Share. The share card does not list the years.
  7. Refreshing the page brings the result back. I could not start a second daily journey in the same browser.
  8. Another journey on the same day is Infinite time-travel, a $5 one-time purchase. The daily mode itself does not ask you to register.

Daily progress, streaks and Wardrobe stay in the browser’s local storage. The official About page does not make Infinite an exception: Google sign-in carries Infinite access across devices, not daily streaks or Wardrobe. Mobile keyboard behaviour was not tested. To avoid split storage or sign-in restrictions in an embedded frame, play directly on eraly.io.

Does Eraly have an app?
On 27 October 2026 the official site only offered the browser game. I found no App Store or Steam build linked from eraly.io.
