Eraly scoring explained for the eraly.io daily history game

Updated 2026-10-27. Checked against eraly.io where the note says so.

A day is 7 moments, so the ceiling is 7 × 100 = 700. I read the six names on eraly.io/about on 2026-10-27. The chips on the home screen list 100, 85, 60, 30 and 10. The zero band is named on the about page, not on those chips.

The window gets wider as the year gets older

The official About page explains that older events allow a wider error: its example contrasts a 20-year miss for Pompeii with the same miss for the iPhone. It does not give numeric error windows for 85, 60, 30 or 10. This unofficial guide has not derived or tested a scoring formula and does not promise points for a particular number of years off.

The manual session documented on 27 October 2026 was not a controlled test across every score band. Values such as 35, 15 and 5 do not appear in the official six-band table checked that day; a third-party table using them describes different rules. Matching the official numbers is not by itself proof that a third-party site is official. Play the game at eraly.io.

What the score is used for

  • A share card of coloured squares, which does not list the years.
  • Wardrobe tracks “+100” counts, “+85” counts, and single-day totals of 400, 500, 600 and 650. See the wardrobe list.
  • Nothing on the about page says a cosmetic item changes the points you earn.
  • How to play

Where the score appears in the journey.

Questions

Is 700 the Eraly max score?
Yes. Seven moments at 100 points each. That figure is on eraly.io/about, checked 27 October 2026.
